I loved staying in the forest suite at Serenity Mountain And Forest Lodge! The room was tucked away amidst the lush foliage and connected by elevated walkways above the river. It had a cozy living room, comfortable bedrooms, and two bathrooms with a bath and a shower. The best part was the terrace with stunning views of the lake. As a nature-loving guest, this suite was an absolute dream for me!
Personally, I wasn't a huge fan of the separate entrances for each suite. But hey, that's just my opinion.

Absolutely perfect! The lodge is stunning, the food delicious, and the activities endless. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was so serene. I didn't want to leave!
Oh, how I hated being secluded in nature's peaceful embrace, with endless activities to choose from and the most amazing food ever! Such a terrible place to relax and unwind.

Our stay at Serenity Mountain And Forest Lodge was a dream come true. The setting and scenery were absolutely picture-perfect, like something out of a fairytale. We stayed in one of the river view chalets, and the view was breathtaking. The staff, especially Themba, were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making us feel right at home. The food was exceptional, with perfectly cooked steaks and a variety of delicious options. As bird enthusiasts, we were thrilled to see so many rare species, including the Narina Trogan and Trumpeter Hornbill. We also had the chance to spot giraffes, kudu, and other wildlife during our stay. our experience was simply unforgettable.

The staff at Serenity Mountain and Forest Lodge were excellent and seemed to be well-trained. The food was amazing, especially the lambshank. It truly felt like a tropical paradise.

Located in a beautiful green area, surrounded by serene jungle. The spacious lodge had comfortable beds and a great view of the surrounding trees and plants. The friendly staff, including the owner and property manager, made us feel at home. The on-site restaurant served good food and the swimming pool was a nice addition. The nearby hiking trail along the river was enjoyable.
There were occasional power outages during our stay, and the unit did not have backup power. Lack of mobile reception and WiFi made communication and making outside arrangements difficult.

The road was such an adventure in my classic vehicle. Such a pleasure to drive so slowly.

The secluded location of this lodge, nestled behind a mountain in an enchanting forest, offers breathtaking views and a truly magical experience. The staff were welcoming and helpful, making us feel right at home. Our uniquely designed room had everything we needed, and the bathroom had a great shower with good water pressure. The facilities were great overall, and the breakfast provided was excellent.
The gravel road leading to the lodge can be challenging and unsuitable for regular cars, so a 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended.
